By bus

An independent shuttle from the Neapolitan network, Alibus, connects the city centre and the Neapolitan public transport network.

• Departures every 20 minutes from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm.
• Two stops at Piazza Garibaldi and Municipio in the centre.
• Ticket price: 4 euros. Tickets can be purchased on the bus.

Depending on the traffic and the company, it takes from 30 to 40 minutes to reach Piazza Garibaldi.
Beware of scams: beware of anyone offering transfer services between the airport and the city, they could be unauthorized transportation, with the risk of paying a much more expensive and unsecured service.

By taxi

The city can also be reached by taxi, whose station is located opposite the arrivals hall. For the city centre it costs about 19 euros, for the ferry port about 25 euros.
Only take official taxis using a meter. Ask the driver for the fare before boarding.

It is advisable to take the lift from Via Chiaia to easily reach Via Monte di Dio. When leaving the lift, turn left and take Via Monte di Dio; walk almost to the end and take on your right Via Generale Parisi; the University is at the end of the street.
